WTB Wiimotes, will travel.
Well, Wii-fever continues. I think my wife longs for the time when I was content to play FEAR, a two-year old game, day in and day out, as that was a much cheaper time for the budget. Fortunately I’ve managed to structure my budget such that Wii-related purchases won’t pwn us.
In any case, yesterday around 11 am I went to the following locations, in search of Wii Remotes:
Target
Best Buy
Circuit City
EB Games
Gamestop
Wal-mart
Total Wiimotes seen? 0.
Total Wiimotes purchased? 0.
I did however manage to pickup Rayman’s Raving Rabbids, and played for about an hour last night. Initial thoughts? Kinda dull, overly simplistic mini-games. Might be more fun with multiple people, but every player would need a Wiimote AND a Nunchuk. Probably gonna return it.
It’s kind of funny that the game that shipped with the Wii, Wii Sports, is far better than many of the launch titles. I guess that’s appropriate, given Nintendo’s history of bundled games: (Super Mario Brothers, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, all excellent).
FL: Confirmed – Nintendo will have Wii’s in other colors – woot?
Wii sports gets boring. Virtual Tennis? Yeah real tennis is muuuch mo bedda.
You just must not be leet at it. Wii Tennis could be its own game with just a few more features, and it’d be better than some of the other launch titles (Cars? Open Season? dubya tee eff.)
Happy birthday and stuff.
Yeah but the little Mii guys freak me out having no arms or legs and stuff. Baseball is even more hilarious. I like watching them bounce around when they run.
