Purge: day 3

Next, we turn to media and electronics – strongholds of possessions in the Eric + H household, at least on the Eric side. Though a strong argument for Heather’s attachment to books is easily justified. Here’s the electronics:

- two PC’s, both stripped of usable parts, needing proprietary PSU’s or other pieces to function.
- one 17″ Dell CRT monitor, probably still works.
- one Epson Stylus Photo printer, 90% chance the printer heads are dried shut, new ink or not.
- one off-brand scanner, never actually used.

As far as books (media) go, I recognize the fact that they are quite re-usable and thus offer them up to anyone who wants to come get them. Most of these are general Christian/Christian theology. I’m not necessarily getting rid of them because they sucked, but because I won’t refer back to them in the foreseeable future:

The Christian Mind by Harry Blamires
With Christ in the School of Prayer by Andrew Murray
Spiritual Authority by Watchman Nee
The Gift of Prophecy by Wayne Grudem
Jesus Among Other Gods by Ravi Zacharias
Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis (2nd copy)
Ethics by Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger by Ronald Sider
The Gospel in a Pluralist Society by Lesslie Newbigin
The Nature of God by Arthur Pink
Charts of Christian Theology and Doctrine by H. Wayne House
Mind Hacks: Tips and Tools for Using Your Brain by Tom Stafford and Matt Webb (not as leet as you might envision it to be)
The New Goat Handbook (definitely as leet as you are envisioning, perhaps even more)
World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks
The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection From the Living Dead by Max Brooks

Only condition for comin and getting them is that if you find the book helpful, you give it away when you’re done with it.

People in power tend to have less empathy. Most likely including your boss – not exactly the largest shocker in the world.
