Blissful Irony
Meh, don’t got anything clever like Buffalo buffalo buffallo… you get the idea, to say today.
I will however point out that the irony that, two weeks ago, the posts were all “purge stuff purge stuff purge stuff” and then last week’s “I got a Wii I got a Wii I got a Wii” is not lost on me. To answer the question I have received two times, ’so how does getting a Wii fit in with purging stuff?’, I say… well, its the smallest of the latest generation of consoles, so at least it doesn’t take up a huge amount of volume =P.
But seriously, I dunno. I’d say the best explanation is that one of the side-effects of purging your stuff is that it allows more freedom and less distraction to actually enjoy the stuff you do like. Whether this is a rationalization (likely) or more importantly whether this is true (unknown, the Wii is sho’ alot of fun tho’) is yet to be seen, at least by me.
