Observation

I’ve noticed something interesting over the past two weeks: the two major pop stations in Atlanta (Star 94 and Q100) are both running teasers for a promotion in which they are going to pay your bills, w/ Star94 explicitly mentioning credit card bills, and Q100 saying any bill, but mentioning that you’ll be ‘debt-free in 07!’

More entertainingly, when Q100 asked for people to submit their bills to be paid over the Q100 website, the response crashed the site for 20 minutes. Awesome.

While this is not technically unusual (it’s been done plenty of times all over the country before), it is kinda funny both stations are going to be doing it at the same time. Not sure if its funny or sad that they think this is the most enticing bang for their buck they think they can get… paying people’s credit card bills.

In other news, its kinda weird using cash again. It’s like playing monopoly, but instead of property, I get food. I guess that’s kinda leet though, can’t really eat property when you hun-gray.
