Road Rage, part three: the slow and steady pull of the dark side.
So as I sat on my favorite stretch of road yesterday, I was talking to Josh Brown 1. We were talking about who’s more manly, who knows more about sports, which one of us drives worse, you know, normal stuff.
As I watched the drive-tards fly by in the now infamous left lane, it occured to me… there was a sneaky way I could too be a drive-tard, but I could do it all stealth-like. You see, the 3rd lane ends because it becomes a turning lane in to an apartment complex. If you look in the following map, you’ll see this marked as “1.”. What I could do would be to get in the lane, pop my right blinker on, and turn into the apt complex, go up the little road, turn around, and come back out, and turn right back on to the road. People are much kinder to people trying to turn right onto their road than they are mergers.
But it gets even better! You see, between “1.” and “2.” on the map, there is a shopping center that is very long, but not wide. It has a road that connects the different parts of it together. Once turning out of the apartment complex, I could turn right back in to this shopping center, and stay on it’s little road until it ends, and then jump up near the top of the map. Genius!
I’ll let you know when an officer of the law pulls me over for my shenanigans.

you don’t talk about who knows more about sports… what else about this post did you make up. Oh yeah, the part about the left lane, it was the right lane in said picture…
Whatevs! I was explaining what a hilltopper was to Josh, because he was near bowling green.
I have never heard Eric talk about sports other than that time he got emailed by some random chick because she thought he was Eric the Defensive End, not Eric the Nerd.
pwned
Ok, I have to admit that Eric talking about sports does seem a bit out of place, but I can confirm that this was the case. I was driving through his home state at the time and asked if there was anything of interest in Bowling Green. That is when Eric informed me of the Hilltoppers and their peculiar mascot, Big Red.
