Sleep

I’m a night person. I like it that way. Cool stuff happens at night, generally way cooler than morning. I’ll give you morning people the sunrise, but that’s it, and the sunset can be just as cool.

But sometimes its a pain in the butt. I don’t like getting up in the morning. In fact, I think the time that I get up has a much larger effect on how I feel than how many hours of sleep I get. Let me give you an example, this is from my own personal experience, and is completely anecdotal.

Situation A: If I goto sleep at 10:00 pm and wake up at 6:30 am, that’s 8 and a half hours of sleep.

Situation B: If I goto sleep at 3:00 am and wake up at 10:00 am, that’s 7 hours of sleep.

Almost universally, I will feel better the rest of the day on Situation B days instead of Situation A. Nevermind the fact I get 1.5 hrs less sleep in Situation B, I generally feel great on those days. I know that 8.5 hours is enough sleep for me, I think it’s because when I wake up 6:30, the sun isn’t up. And that just pisses my body off to no end.

No more whining, enjoy your FL.

I think your body is just more wussy at 6:30am. I’m not sure why I think that, but I felt compelled to say it. By the way, mine is a bit more wussy at that time as well…

Me and 6:30am have problems. We fight alot. Unfortunately, if I don’t let it win then I don’t park for free at the TSRB–sayeth the resident poet. Early + CS = pissed and whiney. Meh.
