Kinda scary.
So this this month, the wife and I have both started new jobs. It’s been a good thing, but it also means we have to prove that we’re not aliens (not like shoot-you-with-laser-beams-pewpewpew aliens, like, illegal aliens) to the HR people. Which means its…
OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS TIME!!!!!!!!11111111
Somehow, someway, in a fit of irresponsibility, I cannot locate the following items:
Heather’s Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Passport
My own Social Security Card, Passport.
My dad was like, “you haven’t lost it. you’ll find it”… but thats the odd thing, I looked through every single box we own, and they are not there. It sucks, but it is what it is, good thing we’re not planning on leaving the country soon.
At this point, you’re thinking, ohhh that is kind of scary Eric… well thats not the scary part. I started the process to recover at least enough of these items to prove citizenship (minimally, would be Birth Cer. + Driver’s License), and it was incredibly easy. For a mere 45$, you can have a certified copy of a birth certificate in your hands in 2 days, and all you have to do is fax a photocopy of driver’s license, and know the person’s SSN and DOB. Ridiculous. With that, you could easily get a passport, and once you have a passport, you don’t even need the Social Security Card.
Oh well. Identity Theft to the max, for the win!!!!11

I’m not sure British polls are relavent to us, I’m sure our number would be much higher…
