All drawings are to scale. Or something.

So a few days ago, I decided to start up a trial account for a somewhat old (3 yrs) game called EVE. It’s a space simulation game, in the future, where you control a spaceship and train up your character, into one of a couple professions. The trial account lets you play for 14 days, and I’m about 3 days in.

Anyway, this game is about scaling, in size. So much so, time to do alittle comparison. Currently, being a new player, I fly a little wussy ship. Here is a picture of it:

It’s called the Merlin, and it’s a nice little ship. It doesn’t blow stuff up too well, it’s not great or big, but at least its bigger than the statue of liberty, right?

Ok, so, to put that in comparison… I’ll show you an image of a ship that I also could potentially fly, though with much time, money, and cooperation. It’s among the largest you can get, and is at the exact same scale as the one pictured above:

It’s called the Naglfar. That’s probably foreign-speak for “pwnage.” It kind of reminds me of the ship at the beginning of spaceballs that goes on and on and on, except this one is actual ‘real’, in that game sense of the word real (not real at all).

FL: Link to all ships in Eve – here’s the rest of em. Sorry about the image size of that big ship.

I’ve been playing EVE since February… well, off and on. If you like, send me an email and we’ll see about hooking up in game.
