For example, when I throw away anything, especially in a fast food restaurant, and I have something in the other hand, I position myself so that the hand with the trash in it is closest to the trash can, therefore minimizing the chances of accidental disposal. It's amazing what the mind comes up with, isn't it??? I have similar fears. I have this same fear. For seriousness. I usually loop my keys around my hand somehow so that I'm almost positive they won't remove themselves from my hand. I still worry about it, though.
