Eric, the energy vampire

(alternate title: “sorry about stealin your energy, introverts”)

This may have been apparent for long periods of time, but what follows is fairly new to me. It seems that when I am around other people, I am energized. It’s somewhat of a high. As is often the opposite case, introverts tend to feel drained when in the presence of people for too long… which makes it appear as if their energy is being sucked right out of them into the extroverts in a group.

So, that said, this is my formal apology to all you introverts. I’m sorry. I appreciate your energy, and promise to make good use of it, posting inane things on my blog and DDRing for hours on end.
